Letter from the Editor

Abstract

Written during the receding of the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the editorial for Vol 3, Issue 1 of IJFAE comments on how the pandemic provided healthcare organizations new opportunities to see first aid education through the lens of those who need it most and the work to get it to them, and how the issue as a whole aims to tackle some of the considerations and implications of COVID-19 for our society. Challenges for the editorial board that arose this year are discussed, and new contributors are welcomed.
